AUTOMATIC CROWN ORIENTATION AND FEEDING

AVAILABLE FOR THE MERLIN

Crowns from the hopper are carried over the stainless steel drum and through an excluder which only allows the crowns to pass through in the proper orientation. Crowns which are oriented incorrectly fall back into the hopper. Several crowns are fed into each of the four crown slides each cycle of the machine. When the crown slides become full, some of the extra crowns are drawn out of the slides and moved back into the hopper. The remaining overage of crowns fall into the catch tray just below the crown slides.

BOTTLE RINSER

The bottle rinser for the Merlin beer bottling machine consists of a 16 spout spray rinser, two bottle handling plates, tubing and pump. The rinser bolts directly to the frame of the bottling machine with a solution reservoir directly below it. Bottle handling plates are actuated with a handle built into the plate and will hold 16 bottles securely by the neck. With bottles secured in the handling plate they can be carried safely, inverted and place in the rinser. Solution is sprayed into the bottles when the bottle handling plate is pressed against the back of the rinser and will continue to rinse as long as the handling plate is held in this position. When rinsing is complete and the bottles have drained, turn the bottles over with the handling plate and release them on the bottling machine for filling.

The rinsing solution can be recirculated or dumped to a drain after use.
